Reviews

Our Altea collection is a pre-washed, cotton blanket fabric woven in Italy. This ultra soft, lightweight fabric is made of 100% Egyptian long-staple cotton. Available in both coverlets (cotton blankets) and coordinating shams, the elegant patterning and pre-washed texture strike a beautiful balance, making this a versatile addition to any bedroom.

Luxurious quilt

We are very happy with our Altea quilt. It is excellent quality, very soft, washes well following washing instructions, and I wouldn’t hesitate to order this quilt for another bed. It has a slight sheen and looks elegant. Make sure to check the drop your bed has as when washed it does pull up some as quilts do once washed. I like more drop for my bedding so i might consider going jumbo king next time but the king works with our bed.

Queen shams

Love the colour and the pattern. The Queen shams are very large - was told that they will shrink down in time with washing. I don’t wash them often, as they are for “show” on my spare bed, and when I do wash them, they are washed in cold water and hung to dry, so there really has not been much (if any) shrinking. The coverlet did come with a couple of pulled threads, but they are not in a noticeable spot. It did demonstrate that I will have to be a little bit careful with the coverlet/shams, when handling/washing, which is a bit disappointing. I had wanted something that would be quite “hardy.” It is very pretty, however, and I do really like them and the “look” it provides.

Perfect!

Not only does my Altea coverlet look beautiful on my bed, but I repurposed the coverlet it replaced (which was a pricey item with only a little wear, so I didn't want to throw it out) as pillow shams. Now the whole ensemble is perfection!!

Gorgeous

I ordered this on line after calling the store and discussing my options, the staff were extremely helpful. I ordered samples of the items I was interested in which made the final decision much easier. Excellent quality and looks fantastic, very happy with it.

My Altea Matelassé Milk is exactly what I wanted. Quality is excellent. I had some issues with shipping dates due to travel plans but they were very helpful and accommodating helping me reschedule. Very impressed with this company.
