“We're on a mission to encourage eco-friendly drying and eliminate toxic dryer sheets.” - Moss Creek Wool Works
These best-selling 100% Wool Dryer Balls have been a favourite for a long time! Ethically-made and eco-friendly, they are a natural and sustainable alternative to your never-ending supply of toxic dryer sheets. Hand-made right here in Ontario, these wool balls are reusable, all-natural fabric softeners that will change your laundry forever.
Directions: place 3 balls in the dryer with a regular load. Keep balls in the dryer between loads. Alternatively, store balls in the cotton bag they come in.
Wool dryer balls are sold in sets of 3 for a reason. They need to work together creating chaos in the dryer. For large dryers and heavier loads, we suggest using 6 or more.
The balls absorb moisture and create air circulation in the dryer. This wind effect in the dryer reduces dryer time. At the same time, the balls replace disposable dryer sheets and plastic dryer balls along with the harsh chemicals within them.
Each ball is approx. 3" (8cm) in diameter and 9.5" (24cm) in circumference
To keep the balls' maximum effect, periodically place each ball in a sock, wash on a hot cycle with detergent, remove the ball from the sock, dry the ball on a hot setting.
Any natural pilling can be removed; however, this is not necessary as the pills make balls more effective.
Our white wool is sourced by
Moss Creek Wool Works from Corriedale sheep from ranches in Wyoming and Montana and is processed in a wool mill in Charleston, SC.
A pH balanced unscented fabric wash (Forever New) is used during the felting process to remove residual lanolin from the wool.
