I am satisfied with the pillowcases I purchased. The stitching is precise and the decorative piping on the edge of the opening is quite visually pleasing. My only issue with the pillowcases is the slub that appeared after the first wash. Given the weave and the long staple cotton, I was disappointed. That is the only reason I chose not to rate the items with five stars.

800 percale vs 410 percale

I'm not a rich man, hence I bought most of my bedding @ 410 thread count. But I didn't want to spend the rest of my life not knowing what 800tc felt like, so I got two pillowcases @ 800tc (for Science). Sure it's nice and soft, but it's also twice as expensive as 410tc. So for twice the money you'd expect something twice as soft, and that doesn't happen. I'm more than happy with my 410tc sheets, and somewhere after 410 there's diminishing returns, where you pay a lot more money for a little more softness. Both sets are great though.

Fitted Sheets shrink

Sorry to say, while I like the quality of the fabric, the fitted sheets keep shrinking beyond easy use. Too bad. I just bought this jumbo queen sheet. Haven't opened it yet. Hope it is better. Don't know what "jumbo" means

Great Sheets

Got my fitted sheets promptly. Quality of the sheet seems good, very soft and luxurious. They are rather thinner in thickness then the last ones a bought a few years back from Au Lit, but still felt amazing to sleep on. I’m sure the sheets will hold up over long term use.

Wonderful sheets! I feel like washing them over and over again. Definitely my favourite sheets. Such a wonderful crispness from such a high thread count in the wonderful percale weave, and yet such a soft touch! The sheets really make you want to climb into bed - any time!!
