We are thrilled to be featured in this month's issue of Active Life Magazine as one of their bedding experts! The article features a few of our bedding collections as well as key bedding tips concerning bedding textiles and types of duvets. Our very own marketing director, Lauren Dilkes, explains that the best type of cotton has an extra-long staple (or fibre) that creates a durable yet supple weave. These types of cotton tend to be either Egyptian cotton or United States Supima cotton. Another type of textile that may appeal to hot sleepers would be bamboo "because of it's moisture-wicking properties", says Lauren.
Duvets are especially important now that fall is already here and winter is right around the corner. Down-fill duvets are naturally insulating to keep you warm, while silk duvets provide a lighter and cooler sleep. Of course, there is also the option of a synthetic microfibre duvet (such as our Jasper collection) that mimics the properties of down while also appealing to children and those with allergies.
