As summer comes to a close, it's not only time to prepare for fall but for many, it's time to get back to school (or get the kids back to school!) We wanted to share some of our tips for setting up your dorm room and bed this year.
Most dorms supply extra long twin and double mattresses, which means you'll need extra long fitted sheets. These can be hard to find, so every August, we make sure to stock both sizes in our white and cream 220 percale.
As for the look of the bed, your dorm room need not be boring or tacky, it can be as exciting and stylish as you wish! From classic waffle, to plaids and florals, there are endless options for creating a fantastic, yet affordable student bed. We want to help make your room feel a little more like home this year.
And finally - don't forget about mattress covers and pillow protectors! They're essential in keeping everything clean and let's be honest, you never know who slept in that bed before you! Also, if you're finding your new mattress uncomfortable, you might consider a feather bed which will feel like you're sleeping on a cloud.
