Our Washing Instructions

Machine Washable

Wash your linens in cold or lukewarm water.

Mild Detergent

Avoid detergents that contain bleach, ammonia or enzymes as they may cause discoloration. (We recommend products like Sunlight, Ivory and Le Blanc.)

Cotton satin linens

Cotton satins and jacquards should be washed in cold water before use to set the fibres and prevent pilling. If you want to preserve the sheen of the cotton satin finish for as long as possible, we recommend avoiding the dryer altogether.

Hang to dry

Hanging to dry will ensure more longevity and less wrinkling. We suggest not using the hot dryer for more than ten minutes, as the heat destroys the natural fibres of the cotton and will considerably shorten the lifespan of your linens. Iron, if necessary, while damp. We suggest hanging the sheets on a folding rack. (Nothing too complicated!)

Tips

To keep your whites white, soak them overnight in hot water with mild detergent only. Also, natural household staples like vinegar and baking soda are not only better on the environment, but they're more effective than bleach.

Please be aware that skin creams and beauty products may stain or discolour your linens.
