Q: I want to buy a new fitted sheet, but I'm not sure if I need a "Jumbo Size". What should I order?
A: It looks like you'll need to take out your trusty tape measure again! Measure the depth of your mattress: is it over 12" deep? If it's over 12" deep, you need our Jumbo Sized products. If it's under 12", you'll be just fine with our standard sizing.
A few years ago, we created our Jumbo Size in response to the extra-large mattresses that began to permeate the marketplace. We use this standard of measure for our fitted sheets, duvet covers, and duvets, giving you extra inches that will fully cover the depth of your extra-tall mattress. If you've ever had fitted sheets that pop off at the edges, you know just how frustrating this can be.
When ordering a fitted sheet on our website, make sure to let us know the depth of your mattress from the drop down box and we'll send you the correct size. As a rule of thumb, we add an additional 4" to the depth of your mattress to accommodate for shrinkage and tuck-in. For example, if you have a Queen bed with a 14" deep mattress, we will send you a Jumbo Queen 18" fitted sheet.
